Reviews & Ratings mmaskill6596 from USA stayed here on 01st June 2010 for the price and location of this hostel, you really can't beat it. we were 2 blocks from the beach and real close to the bars on lincoln, washington and collins.
a couple of the downsides - the rooms were not cleaned during our stay, so the bathrooms and floors got kind of dirty... also, we reserved beds in a 4 bedroom, but when we checked in, only a 6 bedroom was available (unless we wanted to split up)...
overall, it wasn't perfect, but i would stay here again. | Female 25-30 | shuga_lipz3188 from England stayed here on 01st June 2010 Do not stay here. it is not a hostel more a half way house. There where no other backpckers around, was full of old men, and people who had just got out of jail. Not to mention the crazy french girl who decided to graffiti all over the bedroom walls.
The managemnet dont care and tried to overcharge us on check in.
The rooms are so dirty and really crammed. kitchen can not be used as its infested with cochroaches. | | hgarekar5207 from India stayed here on 01st June 2010 filthy kitchens... rooms too overcrowded... no management.. nobody knows whats going on.. nobody cares whats going on... only plus is cheap rates even during major holidays.. do not stay here unless u hav nowhere else to stay... | Male 25-30 | Aurélia from France stayed here on 01st June 2010 DISASTER. There was a big fight when we arrived. The police came twice, it was really scary. People staying there are prostitutes and poor people who cannot afford an apt. They put eight beds in a very small room so that all the beds we touching each other. There were stains on the sheets and towels (blood probably). The bathroom was disgusting. Club in front of the room, extremely noisy. We had to leave after check in, they did not refund the full amount. TO AVOID | | sylem from Italy stayed here on 31st May 2010 the worse hostel ever...i've never seen such a dirty place..and there is no breakfast. it was disgusting. | Female 31-40 | speedpetehaase4872 from Denmark stayed here on 28th May 2010 Ok hostel but some of the permanent residents are a bit dodgy and a few things went missing from my bag in the dorm. Me and my travelbrother ended up staying there 3 nights anyways - the last day in a private two bed room. | Male 31-40 | Tom from Israel stayed here on 01st May 2010 you get what you pay! breakfast DO NOT exist!! | Mixed Group 25-30 | joeweb8902015 from USA stayed here on 01st May 2010 u get what u paid for ,very ,very basic | Male 41+ | fairycharlie6981 from England stayed here on 01st April 2010 very basic- but you pay for waht you get. pretty dirty, breakfast is non existant, no free lockers to secure belongings and some of the staff very rude. | Female 25-30 | lampje906753 from Netherlands stayed here on 29th March 2010 I have stayed in a few hostels around the world. But this was by most the badest experience i ve had so far. Unfriendly staff and bad rooms with small creatures walking around. You problebly find i better Hostel. | Male 25-30 | | 1 | 2 | 3 | | | |
